Anita Wilde being recognized. To this date, Anita is the only woman president the Cruisers has had. The Cruisers are blessed with some great volunteers!

Our current President Dave Assmann unveiled the the new plaque with all of the Cruisers past presidents names on it dating back to the first Chuck Schaller in 1971.
From the left Chuck Schaller, Leon Butler, Anita Wild, Tom Whipperfurth,Mike Caroll and Stan Guif. These six past presidents were able to attend the meeting tonight. There are eight that have passed away and some others that have moved away from the area or were unable to attend tonight.
Current president Dave Assmann joining the group. Dave put a lot of time and effort into tonight’s special meeting researching all the history of the Cross Country Cruiser’s past presidents!
The past presidents and volunteers have led the way for the Cruiser’s to be a very active and successful club in Wisconsin, with a membership of over 500 today and provide some of the best trails in the Northwoods!!
Looking forward to the upcoming season, and you can bet the Cross Country Cruiser’s will be out there maintaining some of the best trails in Wisconsin.
